Better microphone

I have no idea where else to ask this.

I just installed an aftermarket head unit, and the microphone is terrible. It's a standard 3.5mm mic, so I am looking for something better.
What are my options?
Is there a long flexible mic that I can just mount on the headrest?

That's a USB mic though, i need 3.5mm
