Are you certain the GPS is connected to COM1? Check in the Windoze Device Manager.
I just installed Infill T3 in my car with StreetDeck. The computer is not detecting the GPS on Com 1. Can someone from mp3car.com help me?
I ran Sirf Info program and even before StreetDeck is run, the computer is saying "No Device" on COM 1. I've deleted the driver many times and tried deleting the entire COM 1 port many times too.
Also, before I bought the unit, I specifically asked mp3car.com if the GPS was Sirf III, and they said yes. But according to the model# on the bottom of the GPS antenna (X-150), it seems to be Sirf II.
When did you buy this unit and from where?
If you boought this unit as hardware only or off of the ebay auction, please do not expect any form of support from the store as this was part of the terms of the sale.

The T3 has had problems in the past on detection of the GPS (something to do with the 9 pin mini din coonection). Manually put it on com1 and save the settings. You should be fine.
Purchased from store.mp3car.com.

There's only one PS/2 connector that comes out of the unit, with "GPS" sticker on it. The window itself is not detecting the unit. Device manager shows COM 1-9. I've uninstalled Sprint Novatel drivers and the program. Thinking maybe StreetDeck was confusing with Sprint Novatel drivers as it uses three COM ports, one which is for GPS. So I uninstalled every COM ports, rebooted few times, and left only with COM 1. Still no device found.

Have you tried what mpacesaints suggested? Manually setting it?

What do you mean by manually putting on COM1? Do you mean opening the unit and making a direct connection to the board?
Or manually manipulating the settings from the windows? But GPSinfo program should be detecting the device on COM1. Currently the Windows device manager only shows COM 1. Do I need to change the port settings like baud rate?

go to device manager, see the COM port aiisgend to your gps device, you cann keep it on 1 but i would put it on 2 or 3, then in you map software GPS setting select COM you have assigned in device manager, and baud rate of 4800 then you should not have any problems
