Are you sure it's not Streetdeck? Have you tried the onboard sound card audio tools that come on the SD CD?

I've had my T3 installed for about a month now.
Recently I've had an issue that the front left channel doesn't put out any sound. I've narrowed it down to the unit itself and not the amp or wires. Front right, and rears still work fine.
Everything looks connected (even inside the unit) and I don't see any breaks in the cable.
Anyone have any suggestions on a fix for this?

Agree... you should test using the Via AudioDeck panel.
YOU MUST CLOSE STREETDECK COMPLETELY! The test wont be accurate if you don't.
If it still does not work, you may be able to narrow down where the failure is.
- Swap the left and right rca jacks that go between the upper and lower unit. See if the problem follows to the right channel not working. If it does, you know its not the amplifier and might be something wrong with your rca connection.

Yes. I've tested it thouroughly. Vinyl Deck has a tool that lets you test each speaker independently (in 2 channel, 4 channel or 6 channel). I can hook the front left RCA cable up to any of the RCA cables running to my speakers. I get nothing. I can hook up any of the other channels up to any of the other speakers (including that front left one) and they all work. I checked all the sounds setting in windows to make sure that the balance or fade wan't set off that corner. I even removed and reinstalled the Vinyl Drivers.
I do have the ability to set my amp to use only the right channel for both front speakers, but if I do this, I lose out on stereo sound.![]()
I was also looking for an add-on USB audio card, but I can't seem to find any that provide 6 channel sound.
Thanks for the help guys!
I'm not using the built-in amp, so I don't have the cables running to the upper portion of the T3. I'm also sure that SD isn't running. I double checked in the task manager. The RCA cable physically looks fine, I've even followed it back inside the unit. The connection looks good, although I don't have a multimeter to test. I don't see anything wrong ont he motherboard either.
Is there a place where you can buy a new motherboard for the T3? Or find someone selling a broken T3 for parts?
Hmmm...it was my understanding that you MUST connect the cables between both units. I used an rca splitter so I can hook up the rear and front channels to an external amplifier. I know its required for the internal amp, but I thought it also directed the sound from the TV and radio back into the windows mixer.
Are you sure you have your rca wires connected properly? It should be straight forward, with the exception of the word "real" is supposed to read "rear" on the wire label.
If you really think you need a new system board you may ask mp3car if they have a scrap unit...other than that you would have to go to maxan in korea to get one.

I connected the Left and Right audio outs and video out cables from the TV unit to the lower unit. These are required to provide TV and radio sound to the lower unit.
The only reason to connect the Left/ Right Front and Rears back to the top unit is if you intend to connect to speakers using the speaker wires instead of to an external amp. Otherwise, those RCAs connect directly to your amp. You'll see this listed in the installation instructions.
What sucks is that it was previously all working fine, with the exception of some alternator whine. I took it in to Best Buy (where I had the speakers installed) to check on that. The looked at it for about 20 minutes and then said they needed to set up another inspection appointment because it was going to take longer. I then noticed that they had swapped around the RCA cables on my amp and switched the amp into Mono mode. When I switched it all back, the Front left channel of the T3 no longer worked.
I just did a fresh install of Windows, hoping that it was just some driver issue. Still no luck. It looks like it really is a hardware issue. I may check with a PC repair shop can help.
I appreciate the help!
Okay, so I don't know what the heck is wrong with my T3, but now I've lost audio on all 4 channels. They don't work in SD or in Windows. I've connected other devices to my amp and the speakers/ amp all seem to work fine.
I purchased the USB Audio Roadie. It seems to work to put out audio, but the problem I have now is that when it is plugged in it slows down my system. The video lags way behind the audio.
Anyone else have problems with audio output on thier T3?
Anyone know where I could get the on-board audio fixed?
Thanks!

I actually couldn't get the radio to work with the Roadie in StreetDeck. It seems the version of SD I was running no longer has the ability to let you choose your sound card output in options. (I don't know why this was removed).
So, the radio seemed to work, but didn't put out any sound at all. SD also ran horribly slow when the Roadie was connected.
