    You wanted a mini wireless keyboard? Well, you got it!

    Made for the PS3 but I would be willing to bet it works on PCs.

    Check it!!!

    http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2007/04/24/...n-my-keyboard/

    INFO FROM BLOG:

    Like peanut butter and chocolate, they're two great tastes that go great together. It was only a matter of time before some evil genius (i.e. Mad Catz) combined the PS3's SIXAXIS controller with a keyboard for easy data-entry and web surfing. It seems like a no-brainer, though we've got to question some of the design choices... is the top of the contoller the must logical place for a thumb-pad? Here are the specs:

    * Functional 61 key QWERTY interface
    * Enhances in-game messaging capabilities
    * Convenient clip-on design
    * Fully compatible with PS3's web browsing functions
    * Plug and play technology
    * All PS3 controller buttons still accessible
    * Removable clamp increases versatility

    At $29.99, we'll bite. We'll let you know when our order arrives.

    I gotta get me one of these! I just hope its not IR... I dont want to have to deal with line of sight.

    As for the CTRL+ALT+DEL combination I'm sure I could throw together a program that sends that key combination when something like F12 is pressed. Assuming nobody has done that yet.

    Here's the link.... Someone wanna see if this thing works on the PC?

    Thumbs up

    Been a long time guest of mp3car.com (old name was didrule but lost the email and password it was associated with it years ago so got a new one).

    Just wanted to give a run down of the keyboard since I found one yesterday at my work (Best Buy). It is compatable with XP and Vista. Takes 2 AAA batteries and the range is insane. I walked out of site about 40 feet away behind 2 walls and the main electrical panel and it works sweet. As for the multiple characters at once (line the ctrl+alt+del) I have not tried it. I am in the process of building another carputer for abuddy right now, in the bondo process, but Im hoping to try it on there in the next few days or so. I will try to keep everyone posted.

    Have a good one

    "removable clamp means the pad is not restricted to use with gaming consoles."

    Hi Guys,
    My buddy bought the last one @ work yesterday and we were busy testing the limits of the signal. It is not IR but wifi/radio (doesnt need direct sight). I had the reciever hooked up at the Precinct of my store and we got about 200 feet or more. If your out of range the led on the keyboard and reciever, the LED wil blink. We are painting the dash plate right now so hopefully all will be implemented in the next few days or so, depending on our work schedules.... Im gonna go grab my wireless keyboard and test that ctrl+alt+del thing and re post in a few minutes.
