apparently everytime a new update comes out, they have to make the drivers compatible with it, so thats like, once every month they have to make new drivers :/

damnit, microsoft is being really gay about this. would it kill them to have a small team of people write a windows driver for this? wouldn't that increase sales?

I have tried a few things to get the chat pad to be recognized on the pc. I have tried a direct connection to the pc using the USB charging cable, nothing appears to work. If it was a hardware problem with the actual wireless receiver, the direct connect would resolve this. The frustrating thing is the 360 controller would make an excellent device for the car if it is teamed up with the free joy2key application which allows you to map the mouse controls to the analog joystick.

In my frustration I have set up posts on the official Microsoft hardware forum:

If you want official drivers these are the people you should be posting too.

This can be the greatest cap pc keyboard ever if it ever works with the pc.

I have one for my x360 and cant wait for someone make it work with the pc.

good job, did you post saying something about how there are thousands of people building car pc's who are potential buyers of this product? I think this could almost double the sales, they don't seem to sell well to me.
