I will have enable usb keyboard set to on in bios but my question is will it be recognized it if it is a wireless keyboard (likely Bluetooth, possibly RF)?
Thanks.
EDIT: Or, even cooler would be if you could use T9 on a bluetooth phone to do your typing... That for sure wouldn't work in bios tho.
A Bluetooth keyboard will not work for bios setup because the drivers won't be running until sometime after windows starts up. An RF wireless that uses a USB receiver looks the same to the PC as a wired USB keyboard. Most newer PC's recognize these in the bios.

I agree. I have a gryation rf keyboard and remote. Keyboard works fine in bios, but the remote doesn't. Pretty much what I expect because the remote is handled via a driver that isn't loaded until windows is.
I also use a regular wireless keyboard (also rf) and it works well too.
Yeah google!
Thanks guys. Thats kind of what I was thinking.. Only problem is you need line of sight with IR, right? or would it work through a glovebox door OR if I ran a usb cable out and put it under my armrest to plug the IR reciever into. (not direct line of sight, but in the open) Thanks again.
Yeah I'm dumb, I meant RF. Thats the direction I'll go since it's not line of sight. Thanks again.
