I can verify that it does work with a PC just fine. It even has a "touchpad" feature that lets you control the mouse of windows, left click and right click.

I'm running the WIDCOMM Bluetooth stack under Windows XP SP2, and it paired up just fine. I cant figure how to configure the touchpad part of the PS3 Keypad in Windows. If you could adjust the sensitivity some how, then you could make it perfect. The problem is the touchpad part (which is more like a proximity sensor underneath the qwerty keypad, all you do is run your finger along the keys just like a touchpad and it moves the mouse) is that even when my hands are no where near the keypad itself, the mouse "jitters" by itself. And granted, its not as precise as you would think, I think it works just fine considering.

I have yet to test it in the car on a smaller screen though...

Sony would sell more of these if they copied the MS XBOX keypad location AND placed the ctrl, alt, delete keys on it.

Using this device is like trying to type on a Blackberry with the keyboard placed above the display.

Do I need that whole joystick/pad/thingy to connect this or is it just a battery (for the power) and the keyboard can be used stand-alone?

Also, how are they actual keys and their connections? I ask, because I have a tiny keyboard and it seems that 1/3 keys don't fire as I type naturally. I am always having to go back and correct, or hunt & peck so I can visually watch the screen and verify the key triggered. It sucks!
