2nd Monitor with M10000

Hello from Switzerland!
I have a M10000 and use a touchscreen (NEC 6.5" with evTouch driver) on Linux/Gentoo...
General question: is there a way of running a second monitor (17" TFT) from the PC...so that I have the touchscreen for inputs and the 17" for other content...?
I thought I saw something on this in the forum here, but I'm not sure it answers the question.
