Nice new Wireless Keyboard (?)

just an fyi to you guys.......i just received my keyboard and its not working... power seems to be the issue. I cannot get it to illuminate or light up. I tried to different sets of batteries, brand new and nothing. It was not well package and upon arrival the receiver was all chipped up, paint wise..... im assuming the carrier was throwing this package around and broke my keyboard or something.

I have the wired version of the keyboard, and yes, you can do Ctl-Alt_Del.
You have to get used to it to hit 4 keys at the same time.

i decided to take it apart and found that the negative wire was detached. I soldered it back and now it is working great....

this new keyboard is awesome but however has given me a new problem... when my pc resumes from hibernation, the keyboard does not work. I have to re-sync the device. Is there no way to get around this?

anybody else having issues with wireless devices... when resuming from hibernation... it just sucks for me cuz i have to sync the device everytime i need to use it... my setup is all stealth and the usb hub is kind of hidden. Its a hassle to sync everytime i need the keyboard.

One thing to test is to see if un-plugging and plugging the device back in solves the problem. If that works, you can use devcon and hibernate trigger to refresh the device coming out of hibernation.

How about setting the USB port to non power saving mode?

i tried devcon no luck.... fix are u talking about wireless device that require syncing to work? If so how is your setup..... Fone, how do i change the usb port to non power saving mode? How can this help. Hibernation actually powers off the device but saves a state for fast resuming...
