I just got mine in from mobile computing solution and the pressure i have to use is outragious. I honestly think there is something wrong.

send it back, not worth worrying about. it should be good right out of the box.
All 4 of mine also respond perfectly. Maybe you have an out of date touchkit software. I think the latest is 5. something from http://touchkit.com
PS: does the pointer jump back to a certain posistion when released? If yes then maybe something is stuck on the outer edges, and or they put the screen in too tight.

It doesn't jump at all. I thought i might have outdated software but the screen doesn't even seem to beep when the option is selected. I'm not sure what is going on with this thing. Of course Mobile Computing Solutions are saying i have to pay to ship it back to them. The screen "works". If i want to use the palm of my finger tip it won't work without me pushing down real hard. So maybe the screen isn't tight enough????

DUHHH!!! It doesn't beep cause it doesn't have a speaker on it and the audio from the monitor is not connected.

It sounds more like it has a faulty controller. With the EBY701 though, it is built into the video control board also, basically its all one piece. Them charging you shipping to send it back is normal with most companies. They will pay to return the fixed or replaced item back to you, so both use and the company will lose money.
PS: The EBY701 has a built in speaker. Even if you remove the speaker it still beeps through you audio speakers.

Hmm i didn't see a speaker. Yea it should beep without the audio inputs connected thats why they are inputs lol... Duhh again.
Of course i don't agree with me having to pay for shipping since i already paid to receive a working device everything outside of that should be covered by them since it was their mistake. So i didn't pay 474 plus one set of shipping costs i have to pay 2 sets of shipping costs. But sometimes u eat the bear and sometimes the bear eats you![]()

$474 dollars? For an EBY? Was that a typo? The EBY with free shipping should have cost $172.95 from Ebay. I have to assume you bought a transflective. If yes, then that could be an issue with them not connecting something inside correctly or them damaging something. Remember they have to apply the transflective upgrade which requires the screen to be opened.

Yea its the transflective version and its in that double din casing that they make. I'm not sure what happened but these people at mo-co-so are being difficult. I don't even know where they want me to send this thing and their response to emails is horrid unless its Chris. Chris is pretty fast but this info address they have is awful. Who ever is answering that needs to be FIRED!!
