If you get the new update ver...you can use your G1 as a mouse and keyboard. I had a video..but I think it's to big to upload.
Just a tidbit of info. for all you G1 users. You can use your G1 to control your PC via WIFI. Just download the Gmote app to your Android phone. Go to the website www.gmote.org to download the software to your pc, install and you are ready to go.
Its kind of limited on what it can do, however it allows you to remotely access all of your files with the phone and display them either on the phone itself or the PC.
I had a good time messing with my wife while she was trying to check her e-mail, she thought there was a virus but it was me playing music and popping up pictures from the bathroom. Just a fun app!!!![]()

know of any routers that run on 5v or 12v? i had this working on my desktop pc using connectify but when i tried it in the car it turns out my wifi adapter is incompatible
I think they all work on 5 volt, the wall adapter converts the power. I'm pretty sure the power port on my Netgear says 5V on it. It might be AC though, who knows.

I have the network running in my car well. In fact I'm already using my iTouch and iTunes with the remote app.I cant stand it, takes for ever to connect to iTunes and its all apple. The difference between our setups is the fact that Im using the built in wifi adapter in the laptop via adhoc. I'm assuming your router is setup as infrastructure.
