I have a 2009 Tiguan and i am starting to gather information on parts i need to get the PC installed. My car came equipped with steering wheel controls. I have an adapter from connect2 that converts the controls into a 8mm plug for the pioneer radios. is there anything out there like this that i can get that will allow me to control track blue tooth mute volume controls. At this point it is the only thing i am unsure about.

I'm not sure what type of steering wheel controls the Tiguan has (resistance wire, voltage, through CAN). There are many solutions. You can look into rcjoycon or fusion brain (which I am currently using)
mine is a can system

that is how mine is connected. the Connect2 puts the wires out into 3 wires i believe then inside converts it to the can. so what ever the signal the pioneer radios use will work with this. i would just need a interface that would go between that unit and the autoPC
As the document(SVW002.pdf), your steering wheel remote controls are CANBUS.
You can use CAN interface.
Or you can modify it into resistance output.
This is the example of AUDI steering wheel remote controls.

I have a email out to connect2 trying to find out how the interface works that i have from them. I think it takes the resistance type interface from the radio and converts it too canbus. I do not really want to mess with the controls.
