I just figured out the ps2 pinout for a spare touchpad out of an Itronix Gobook. Thw functions of each of the 4 colored wires are different from every ther example I have found thus far, so I did some tracing with the help from the following links (some of this info has been covered in other threads on this topic):

board=920-000191-03Rev A
IC=Synaptics T1004 0211

These colors represent the connector to the motherboard, not the ribbon cable between the touchpad board and the button board.

brown=data
black=clock
orange=ground
red=vcc

Thanks to this community for all the great info, and I hope this info helps someone!
