Steering Wheel Controls -> USB question

u will have to register on the forum in order to see the diagram .

the color of the wires are actually red/black and green/white.

i use it in my 2006 mazda 6.
i have the audio steering wheel controls mapped to it.
it supports up to 10 buttons.
i paid $32 . money WELL spent.

you will have to locate the two wires that run from the steering wheel to the radio, hijack those and tap them into the joycon.
do some configuring , and presto.

dude - that sounds amazing!!! i have a cadillac CTS and i think i know which wires are for the steering wheel. Would it work on my car? Could the website help me if i run into problems?

Now it is recognized as a keyboard - i would like to control the volume and mute. Is this feasable?

Also the link shows the product - but how do i buy?

i got mine from ebay.

it will work with any steering wheel buttons/or any buttons that operate using resistive current.

if you can map a shortcut key to mute and volume it will work.
i know if u use 3rd part apps such as winamp and centrafuse, it will work.

the gentleman who sells them is VERY helpful!
customer service is top notch!
simply email him and he will respond very quickly

they are more or less the same from 04 to present.

one or two colors may have changed, but their positions have not.

i will look for another diagram which will indicate the wiring positions @ the harness (which connects to the back of the radio)
