Looks like it would just be plug and play![]()
I found this Surface Capacitive touchscreen overlay in hopes of using it with a 12.1" sxga lcd panel. The dimensions of the overlay are almost identical to the lcd panel. My question is how would I go about making this work with a carpc and centrafuse? Anything special or would it likely be plug and play? Below is the link to the spec sheet/pdf of the capacitive panel. Take a look and let me know what you think!! Thanks in advance.

haha, i'm on the same boat, i recently bought a 3M cleartek II panel (9" widescreen) and made some phone calls... i'm getting ready to buy another LCD (mine is a 8", been installed in my accord for 2 years) to fit this bad boy... problem is... I'll have to re-fabricate the dash from scratch!!
it should be pretty much p&p, and better yet if you could find a company that can optically bond the panel to your lcd, the sun and bright daylights would e history!
but regardless you'll have better brightness and color temperature using the glass overlay vs the regular resistive... once i'm completed with my carpc version 2.0, ill post picz
