Capacitive touch panel for 11.6" LCD?

Hi everyone. I've been reading this forum every once in a while for a few years. just signed up because I'm starting a project.

i'm wanting to make a tablet PC, something along the lines of an iPad, but obviously it wont be as thin. it will be using a Beagle Board, and its probably going to run Android, if not, some form of linux.

i have an 11.6" LCD panel from an HP Mini 311-1000 netbook (1366x768, widescreen). and I am looking for a good Capacitive touchscreen solution. ive never worked with touchscreens, so I dont know all the ins and outs of how to use the controller, ect.

can anyone point me in the right direction, for where to find an appropriate size panel?

ive found a bunch of company sites that sell them, but they never specify if they are 16:10, 16:9, or 4:3.

I thought that they were sold by overall dimensions, not the screen format...

Try measuring your screen and use those?
