    An aftermarket fancy navigation knob?

I'm after something like the fancy knob from Infinitys:

Buying the actual infinity one is out of the question because the nav system costs over $300, but I'm curious if anyone knows of anything similar?

The silver part spins around and then there's the 8 buttons on top.

    Ideas?

I'm aware of those... I'm really looking for something that has buttons on the wheel itself.

If I have to, I'll make on myself, but I'd really prefer not to.

    Mmm...that is a sexy knob....

An idea, which will work - why not get the knob from a breakers, and then mount that to a rotary shaft encoder, connected to the HID from Ultimarc?

I have the HID, and the rotary encoder, just need the knob with the buttons - will work, and look really cool....

A Breakers? (My best guess is a junk yard?)

I've considered that, but it's unlikely because it's part of the entire navigation system, and I imagine most people just transplant the system as a whole. I do still plan to hit up some junk yards and find out, but I'm not too optimistic.
