VNC control of computer over ipod touch

Ive been messing around with an old computer. I put vnc on it, so that I dont need to have a monitor hooked up all the time. The only problems with VNC running a front end, is the lag and also, with my ipod touch, the screen is not static, it moves around. There is nothing you could probably do about the lag, but if someone could figure out how to make the VNC program, full screen and not move, I think it would be great as far as a wireless touch screen control of a car computer.

I know most here shun commercial apps, but I've been using Z2 Remote2PC for years and it fixes that problem and adds numerous additional features. Actual capture from my Touch Pro cell phone:
HARDWARE: Fujitsu Stylistic ST5111w/WiFi and dock, internal Hitachi 500G HD, external 1TB HD, Sierra Wireless Aircard 550, DVD-RW, BoomzBox HD radio, XM Commander, Delorme GPS, Saitek X-52 Pro joystick, BluSoleil Bluetooth, TPMS, FB, Elm327
