    Touch Screen USB Cable???

    Hi All,

    I have a Pioneer AVHP3100 touch screen headunit. I wish to connect a laptop that has a broken screen to the headunit to use as a car computer. The screen is touch screen and has a USB interface. I would like to know if there is some cable or other device that will allow me to control the laptop using my headunit touch screen?

    nope. the usb input on headunits is only playing media files from external drives/mp3 players. decks are too 'dumb' to know what to do with a device like a laptop.

    you might be able to buy a usb touch screen controller and connect it to the ts.

    You could, yes.
    However, you'd also lose touchscreen control of the headunit.
    You can't have both.
