Lincoln Navigator 1 - Steering wheel buttons USB adapter

Hi all!
Could somebody tell me, which adapter with USB or COM interface should i use for buttons on my steering wheel? I bought a resistive adapter, but Lincoln uses some protocol not a resistive system. Buttons have some chip on-board.
I have idea, but it's too complicated. Buy one of the PAC SWI adapter plus some USB - IRDA reciver.

The easiest way is to modify the remote controller itself.

Maybe it's possible using some existing adapters for example PAC + JoyCON ?
