Thread: wireless mouse as a steering wheel remote

I do with my set up, I use one as a rotary encoder and one as a regular mouse....
also with the autohotkey thing you can set it up to where one button can do more than one thing... Like you press rt button it does x then say you press rt button and scroll up it does y...press rt button scroll down it does z and on and on.....

It seems the possibility's are endless because you can also have one set of buttons that do one set of things while one program is running and it can do something else when another program is running and when another program is running it does something else! on and on!

yeah i hear what you are saying. So how do i implement a second mouse as a rotary encoder? somehow i would need to tell the OS that it's not a regular HID mouse and it needs to do completely different things to the other mouse

well I just have both plugged in I guess because of the programs I use and that fact that I leave the right button work like it always does and only use it as "shift"
button.
I use one as a "rotary encoder" thats what you are doing with yours and one functions as a regular mouse
I don't think you could make them both different rotary encoders, cause they would just do the same thing...???
You will have to set up just one and then just get each and every button press combination
out of it... unless you keep one mouse as a mouse and use the curser to select and push
different buttons (thats really all I am doing)
