Do you have a serial GPS? If so, go to hardware manager and you will see a "serial mouse" that you don't have. Well, it's your GPS...do a properties on it and disable it. Reboot and the problem will be gone...
I have a logitech RF USB mouse/KB.
Anyone else have a problem on EPIA M's where your mouse will jump irratically around the screen when you boot up and have to disconnect it and reconnect it after you have rebooted to get it to work again correctlty? Seems like it has only happened in my XP.. also sometimes I have to loose signal on occasion.
Anyone else experience these problems?

Also most USB GPS recievers have the USB - Serial adapter built right into the unit even though all you see is the USB coming out.
Or those that are pure usb often employ a driver that acts as a usb>serial addapter, so that any (generic) software can communicate with the gps.Originally posted by Moose
