JoyCon Explorer 121201 was released

[Updated feature for CarPC JoyCon Exr]

Preset Button was newly included besides Preset up/down Button.
You can go to an application directly by pressing a button just once.

With Preset up/down Button, you had to launch all the application to go to the application you want.
But you can launch only the application you want with Preset Button.

If you modify the buttons around the screen, this is very useful function.
Or you can add more resistive buttons by DIY to switch application directly.

Application switching was improved.(App Link was renamed App Launcher.)
Application pops up and gets the input focus instantly.
Application switching is now very reliable.

Default Preset option was included.
When Track Top Window was activated, Default Preset is automatically applied for an application with no preset.

Resistor Range and Button Position is stored in the onboard memory.
You don't need to configure Resistor Range and Button Position for each preset.

Rearview camera bug was fixed.
Rearview camera view is closed when you take the car out of reverse gear after PC's wake-up.

OSD bug was fixed.
OSD is transparent to mouse click.

[Firmware requirement]
Firmware update of CarPC JoyCon Exr is required later than 121201 version to use this version of JoyCon Explorer.
After you install JoyCon Explorer, update the firmware in the "FW" tab.

I just connected my Carputer into my car this afternoon, and when I pressed the volume up button on my steering wheel, the volume level went down. That's a good sign, because I have not installed the JoyCon Explorer software yet.

This software comes just in time for my setup. As far as the firmware goes, is it included in the software package or do we need to download a binary from your site?

Firmware update is very simple.

Your PC need to be connected to internet.

Connect CarPC JoyCon Exr to USB.
Run Joycon Explorer.
Click "FW" tab.
Click "Check update" to update the firmware list.
Click "CPJexr_121201.jfm" in the list.
Click "Update firmware"

Wait until USB is reconnected automatically.
