Anyone interested in touchscreens?

ok, here's some info. i've been emailing back and forth with EELY and they are just coming out with their own capacitive touch screen and want me (and anyone else who wants to) to test them. they have to sell it but for the 10.4" which fits on datalux's most popular lcd, it's only about $45 each. the only problem is, they tell me their controller isn't ready yet and i'll have to use 3M's. last i wrote them, i was asking for 3M's part #. i've also just spoken to 3M and a sales rep is calling me back tomorrow probably. my feeling is though that 3M will want an arm and a leg for their own screen and controller. anyone know how we can get ahold of 3M controllers?

If you are still trying to get a touch screen controller, maybe you don't have to use 3M's. Check out what these guys are selling:

Regarding your current request on our 7.4" touch screen kit, we offer 4-wire 7.4" touch screen at USD$17 per pcs (below 100 pcs) and USB controller at USD$22 (below 100 pcs). Total USD$39. Our delivery terms is FOB Hong Kong.

Our 7.4" standard touch panel has a width 6.77" and height 5.02". It will fit in the 7" widescreen LCD. No problem.
