    Question Will This Work? MP3, Touchscreen setup

    I am new here, but I have been looking into this Car computer/MP3/GPS system and I have been trying to piece one together. Currently, I am looking at an 8.4" Touchscreen on Ebay and the guy says he has all of the stuff to go with it. He said he has : all the controller boards (with OSD), hirose cable, inverter and cable, touch controller with cable.

    Is this all I need to use the touchscreen in my car?

    I have a laptop that I wanted to hook it to and put it in my car. With the equipment listed above, could I connect it to my laptop and be able to use ME to control whatever I need on the laptop? MP3, External Programs, Windows XP?

    Please advise. The auction ends in about 2 hours and I don't want to buy this thing if it will not work.

    PS-Anyone good with ME? I wanted to know how to edit the FM radio channel list or add/remove graphics on some of the linked pages. Thx.

    sounds like its all you need.. the touchscreen will be just like your mouse. so if you can do it with your mouse you can do it with a touchscreen. You don't need ME for other apps to work with touchscreen.

    As for edit the stations. its either in the settings.ini file or there's another .ini file the radio uses. I forget

    Just figured out the Radio List thing...got that done. Thanks.
