Thread: Partial newbie... Basic remote questions

1) Does the remote act like a wireless mouse, enabling you to move around the screen and click where needed?

Some have that funtion buiilt in like an ATI Remote Wonder. Some you could use Girder to set it up to do so as well.

2) OR, does the remote interface with custom code (girder?) to control your applications?

Yes you could do this as well...

3) If the answer to #1 is yes, why not just use a wireless mouse?

It may roll all over the place when driving or you wouldn't be able to use it outside of the car like a remote or maybe so other reason.
