has anyone had this new griffin powermate driver actually fix anything? They neglected to put on the thier website, what this driver actually FIXES which is a typical manufacturer way of thinking as per usual.

I'm not sure what was fixed, but it does work well in Standby and it seems to be more reliable. The push and turn doesn't activate other features now.

I noticed my setup recognizes the powermate as an HID input, I tried 2 uninstall/install and i cant get it 2 recognize as the powermate. Either way it seems 2 be working fine and I have 1.53 drivers. Any idea how to get to recognize as it should?

well i Upgraded the powermate driver and the USB sound card driver today, and it didnt make any difference at all. And Griffin's downloadable driver update has a silly thing where it will just download a "newer" version of itself from the website - the same driver package. So you go in circles all day!
Thing is, I only did this to check it. I thought I had installed this newer driver when it came out in feburary so it only confirmed it.
How do i fix this stupid thing!
Griffin why dont you fix this!

I had to manually install the drivers. It showed up as HID device or something, and I updated the drivers and pointed it to the new location.
