New X10 RF/IR PC Remote Control.

Saw this over on the HTPCNews forums. A new X10 remote (yes I know they filed for bankruptcy) that is RF as well as IR. It can learn other remotes too. Perfect for HTPCs and could work well for carputers AND Headunits that have remotes too.

HERE is the link to the only place (I know of) you can buy it. $40 shipped. Not bad IMHO. I ordered one for the HTPC I'm building.

not too shabby. My only complaint with my ATI was that it didn't do IR. Maybe I'll pick up the X10 for the car and leave the ATI for the house where it can remain mated to the All-In-Wonder card. Nice find.

I think the remote talked about here is a vast improment on the one you mention Blicky. The one you have shown has ( I belive belive ) been about for some time, also its RS232 where as this new one is USB - far better.
