Question would anyone be interested in a small thumbpad for pcs?

Like the ones that some PDA's have (but are only for PDA's). I am thinking of creating a small thumbpad from spare parts, and I am wondering what kind of demand there would be for it if I can perfect it.

I am creating it for myself to go in the steering wheel, total size would most likely be about 5" x 3", give or take an inch or two, I still need to design the layout (but a full size keyboard layout, probably even including number pad). It would also have a roller wheel like a mouse has for volume, probably on the right side of it. (up/down for volume, push for mute).

Anyway, I looked high and low and the smallest keyboard I could find was like 8" across, a tad to big, so here I am going to build one from scratch.
