    also, streetknight,
im still on fense as to which one im going to use in the car. They all do what they say it can do very well. Each has its pluses. I think im going to shell out the 15bucks also, just so it can be a permenent option.
I was going to buy that X10 IR/RF remote (still am but for a different project) but using my cell phone as the remote apeals to me a lot, its smaller and i allways know where its at, and i dont have to add another device to my car.

    anyway more later

well this one i would say avoid, unless all you want to ever do is move your mouse, cause thats about all it can do. It lest you assign all the buttons on the phone, but the list of available options to map the keys is very sparce. Basic mouse movement, left click and right click is all you can do.

couple of questions to those playing with jeyo remote..

can you autostart jeyo remote upon pc bootup? meaning, it will establish the bluetooth connection to your phone automatically? What if you go to hibernate or standby, how do you then reconnect your phone?

With PC Remote I used to write a script which disconencts and then connects the phone just in case I took the phone out of the car at the petrol kiosk then come back in, so that my bluetooth connection between the carPC and the phone gets reestablished and I can resume controlling winamp/mediacar

and liquid, what did you mean by you can simulate keys on the keyboard with the phone? Does that mean I can program my keypad to say, if I hit no 5, it performs the same command as ESC? That would be kewl. I never knew that.

well i have been using it for a few weeks now and u can make #5 do esc or what ever u want it o do its completely reprogramble. and any time u walk away from the remote if the pc is running and the jeyo was already runing .it will look for it again and start it self up no problem. i have gone instide stores with my gf in the car and come back and control the volume even before i get in the car.
