I suspected that. It's almost the time -99 and doesn't change. If I set it to min=-99 and max=0 or 1, there's no response.
I think I only gut a response when the dead zone is set to the buttons values.
Out of the dead zone thereís no action signal.

When it was working, I had to set the dead zone to max=7 or 15... In order to put it working, but the centre value was -99 or 0..!!

I have to get another gamepad to be sure that is not that the problem!

But itís strange, since I get all the values in the plugin, but they donít show in the girder window.

    What should I do?!

Hey Alex, it may be where you are setting the min/max. When using the Y axis, the 2nd set are used even though it doesn't really show an X or Y anywhere. Just uncheck the X, so all the X values are ignored and use that middle column for the deadzone.

    Hello Curiosity,

Yes, itís what Iím doing. The x axis is unchecked because itís unusable (it doesnít have any load, so the values keep changing).
    Iíve tried all. Now I have Poll rate = 33ms; Range = 100; Threshold = 1.
Itís the latest JoyAxis Plugin and girder 3.3.7

Iíve had it working on another computer, but maybe it was with girder 3.3.4.
Iīm going to try with the old version, but it's strange!

    Tanks!

Yes mitchjs, Iím also interested in the rm-x5/6s, but the game port has the buttons, that Iíll use for 12v sense. Iíve already rebuild it so I can connect it to a light sensor, panel buttons, door, cell phone kit (if Iíll have one), etc. (I have a 15 pin connector and a 3,5mm in it.

It also can be used with steering wheels (and at the same time).

It also just needs usb, and I have it in the front for the touch screen (that was stolen a month agoÖ). In your version we need another cable (serial) to the front for the circuit & ir receiver or it could be used with a 3 wire extension (for the remote), or better (but more expensive) with a serial-usb adaptor.

I will, however, Iíll want to try that rm-x5/6s, because as I told you in your post, the rm-x6s is really cool and practical to use.
Please tell-me when you have a final version.

If I donít find a way to my problem, Iím going to try both adaptors.

    Thanks.

    Ok, i've discovered the problem!
The thing is that i can not calibrate the gamepad in windows!
That way it takes the predefenitions and it works ok.

If I calibrate it with the rm-x4s, the plugin won't send nothing to girder (only button press of gamepad, or the zero (0:0:0:0 if the dead zone is big enough to get a button value.

I have finished wireing my sony commander with 2X 120KO resistors, but still no work. With a generic gameport--->USB adpter, windows will not recognize a joystick, and can not add it manually. With an adpter made by radioshack, windows recognizes the usb adpter, but I get the same values for any button pressed in the winamp plugin. please help....

Iīve done it with a cheap usg gamepad with dual analog sticks and 10 buttons.
itīs 15Ä. I've used 2 x 5k (4,7khom) in place of the y axis. The variable resistor that was there was 10k (like in the one I had before..).
Still, I have 2 buttons of the sony joystick with the same value, but it might be a from the buttons not working well (or not!).
But dont know why now I can't calibrate it like before, and have to use the predefinition.
I still don't have a screen so, didn't test it in the car, yet.
