    That outlines the progress of my own project, ALEXIS.

    It is color-coded (the key is on the bottom line of the sig) to show the progress as it currently stands.

    OBD = OnBoard Diagnostics : Used by all vehicles to give access to computer diagnostics. Used in CarPCs for real-time digital dashboards etc.

    Skinning = The ability to change the appearance and layout of elements within the program. Currently, there isn't a lot of that in ALEXIS yet, but that's okay. I'm more focused on just getting the software running first.

    ps: Not all vehicles the closes thing I can get to that in my 1938 truck is a webcam under the hood to make sure the engine is still there lol

    hey alessio--why don't you just ask someone who already is using a parallel port relay board your questions?

    i'm sure i'd answer all of them and give you the pros and cons
