Question Ondigital Remote Questions (YES, I searched!)

Please don't tell me to or , as I have. I just received my Ondigital remote, and had a couple of questions for you vets:

    1. Is it possible that the Girder event string codes would be different using an IRman receiver vs. the supplied receiver? I've fired up a couple of different GML files for the remote using my IRman, and the events I see registered are different than the ones which appear in the GML files. I tried it with all the different manufacturer's codes (901-907) as well. I'm thinking I need to use the supplied receiver with it to get it to match the GML files you guys have already painstakingly prepared.

    2. Has anyone successfully gotten this remote talking with Media Engine 2.1, or Media Car?

    Many thanks!

    Paul

Do not know about question 2, but yes from what I read you need to use the original ir unit. You may also need to go in and change the wires to the pins around om the serial plug.
