For those using the Lilliput... does the 7" display actually fit into a double DIN? Or, is there some modification to the display itself?

i couldnt take not knowing. yes, they work. using the beta drivers from the link above, my laptop now goes into standby and also no longer crashes resuming from a hibernate. apparently these drivers also can emulate a mouse so you can get the start bar to come up by sliding your finger down toward it, but i haven't played with that.

the 7" display will fit into a double DIN slot, but the housing itself will not.

I hate dragging up old threads, but how would one go about modding a 7" display to be mounted in a double DIN slot? Curious, as I've though about ditching a head unit and just running a computer for MP3 playback and maybe GPS later on down the road. Also, if I decide later that I require FM radio, are there any receivers or anything to that affect that can receive FM radio broadcasts for CarPCs?

I think it depends...I have a toyota corolla 2004 and my lilliput 7 inch fits in a double din slot...the only problem I have is that my TS is not working!!!
