    TM 701 7" Screen running from cars power direct?

    Does anyone have problems running these screens running directly off the car's 12volts? Would rather run it from the car directly than thru the PC's power supply. If neither work well I will make a seperate 12volt regulator.

    Should I just run it thru a 7812 on a heatsink to protect it?

    Iv'e had this running now for 2+ months with no LCD problems

    regulator doesnt work...ok straight off the battery it is then!
