pioneer head unit

Does anyone out there have the AVH-P6500DVD, and if so do they like it?

On my car I only have room for a single DIN and this would work perfectly, especially if i would be getting a new car in a few years. Someone said on a post a while back that you wouldnt not be able to integrate the touchscreen with your carputer. Can anyone confirm this? I wanted to put GPS, hold my music cd collection and dvd collection on the computer and be able to browse through my playlists on the touchscreen monitor.

I have used that head unit a few times. It is not bad but it is really not cheap. You do not get a GPS unit with that. You have to buy
AVIC-80DVD as well. Buy the time that you are done it will end up costing you close to $2000.00 and the maps are not upgradable. And you have to have the Map cd in the drive to work.

Oh yea as far as I know there is no way to use that touch screen with a computer.

I have the older model, no touch screen and had to have a seprete dvd player. I have not had a chance to check it out with the pc as Im still building it.
