Heya all, been browsing these forums since the start of the site and from right back in the day when ARBY first put his site up, geee they were the days.
Anyway I have been saving some dosh up (about £2000) and am now just starting to embark on my own car pc project in my Fiat Brava. It already has phat alloys and exhaust, as well as a nifty stereo systems with three subs etc etc.
Anyway, my first post is to say hi and to say LOOK AT THIS:
http://www.carmediastore.com/product...products_id=50
It is an electroluminescent keyboard at a dirt cheap price. Very handy stuff indeed! I have seen many posts on this forum from people wishing to have smaller, light, cool looking, backlit etc etc keyboards, and this is one that I think covers most of it.
I would reccommend doing some searching to see if there is a "better" shop to get them from as I cant say I trust this one so much as it is using the default oscommerce look (Im a web designer).
Otherwise enjoy this little offering, the first of many.
Additionally I am setting up a new image gallery on my site at http://davidgeere.com/imagegallery where you will be able to follow the progress of the installation, parts, software, troubles, etc etc.
Finally, if anyone is interested I am thinking of starting an online store where you can get EVERYTHING for a car pc, including kits, free guides etc etc. If anyone wants to start submitting links to products that they highly reccomend then please do to mp3shop@davidgeere.com for now and then I will get going on the store.
Phew, that was a long one!
