i have the creative credit card remote and it was slow also.. its just the way it is
for those of you using IR remotes (Especially steering wheel remotes), what kind of response time do you get when you press the buttons?
only IR remote i've had in the past was a Creative RM-900 that came with my SB Live! 5.1 w/ LiveDrive, and the response time on it was HORIBLE. great if your just hitting play/pause/next track, but if your trying to skip down 20-30 songs, its very anoying to use, because you dont get that real-time feedback on where your at... you have to wait for it to catch up to see whats going on.
was kinda hoping that was just a thing with my creative setup......
any thoughts?
(EDIT)
I'm planning on using an IR steering wheel remote with my computer, so I was trying to gauge just how useful it was going to be

I'm using a VCR remote with a UIR and it's quite sluggish. I'm fairly convinced that it's the way I wrote my software though - my standard button system was sluggish before.
Just another one of those things I gotta fix one day.
