looks nice, unless i missed it i don't see where it claims to work for PC though. I also checked the wireless PC keyboards section with no luck
Anyone using one of these?
Wireless IR PDA Keyboard
I was in Frys today and it caught my eye. It is TINY, folds in half into a nice little case that would fit easily in my center console. One of the models listed on the back that it worked with normal PC's and XP.
My question is, how far would the IR work? I know some things get good distance from IR remotes. But this thing would be pretty useless if you had to be within inches of the IR reciever, but if it could be a couple feet, I think I will get one..
OR if there were a RF or bluetooth one of these.. this small.. I would be even more interested!

I dont think it was the belkin one that said it did, they had 4 different ones I think. One of the four definetly said it did.. I took a picture of it with my phone, but for some reason the bluetooth on my PC isnt working right now![]()
It was some off brand name, but looked just like the Belkin.
They had a HP one that was slick, it didnt fold out, it kinda pulled out side to side.. I didnt have a whole lot of time to check it out tho.
With a little searching on ebay, I found the one that said it was XP compatible.

I see where it says system requirements, Windows XP, but I imagine that's for actually loading everything into your Palm pilot. I think I'd email the seller before diving into that pool.

well he emailed me back, said it only works with PDA's
DAMN! that was defiently what I wanted
thats too bad, try looking around for a bluetooth PDA keyboard...a search on google shows several news articles and some actual product links like a new version of frogpad supporting bluetooth - $170

a bluetooth PDA keyboard should also work with any PC with a USB dongle and widcomm drivers
Yeah I see that.. Looks like its only half a keyboard tho, and you can switch/shift the keys to the other side of the keyboard.. sounds like a pain to me.
