    This probably isn't what you are looking for, but the link was floating around in some of the other sections of the forums. Its basically a pointing stick like the ones used in IBM thinkpads. Has a serial connection as well. Just look at this really ugly URL:

    That's the same 1 as go speed post a few above yours...

    I'll go with the hacking PS2/Xbox controllers. They have so many buttons that you can make to assign to other tasks.
