    what is the best alternative to a touch screen?

    what is the best thing to control mediacar other than a touchscreen? i am looking for something small and easy to use while driving.

    Would be a throwup imo between a Remote/Keypad or a Touchpad (aka, like the laptops use).

    I am currently using a USB joystick with its keys mapped to keyboard keys. Its easy to control with one hand and eyes on the road, and it gets me around my software easily.

    When I'm not moving in the car and need to change settings etc, I have a USB hand held trackball mouse.

    use girder and Playstation joypad w/builtin keyboard. That's what I use sometimes.
