Is there anyway to hide the cursor until the mouse is moved?I use the touch screen most the time but if I play dvd s the cursor has to hide so the menu will go away.

The way I do it is I used Visual Studio to whip up a "No Visible Pixel" mouse cursor with just a hot point. It works great for touch screen, but if I ever have to trouble shoot the machine and I use a mouse, I can't see where the hell I'm pointing!

Can you post the code or executable? ThanksOriginally Posted by Magnezium
I have a hider, but check your mouse control panel. I noticed a cursor set named "TouchKit Hide Cursor" in there that's all blank. I think the Lilliput touchkit installed it. I prefer the large inverted with my hider.
This cursors is installed with touch-screen drivers.. But if you want to use the mouse??![]()
I added the auto hider to my Compass because it already had a "start with windows" and is always running. If you don't want the compass part, just set it to COM0: and slide the transparency all the way to the left and it will skip all of it's drawing code.
If anyone wants C code to add to their software, just ask. It's as easy to use as ShowCursor().
