    IBM type mouse ??

    Hi Has any one tried using the IBM type mouse ( housed in the middle of the key board )

    If usiong that is possible i think it might be useful cos of space constraints..
    any suggessions / help ???

    If you mean the 'track stick'? I also was interested in getting this to work in a car. I haven't seen any standalone tracksticks out there and I haven't hacked up a laptop yet.

    I would really like to see a very small wireless (RF) keyboard with a trackstick.

    Yes I have, for more than to year have i use one of then server keyboard with build in mouse i the middle of it, on my mini-itx V800 board and it work find
    Plan for project = 100%

    Trackpoints are nice...I use one on my Thinkpad. I've also have a PS/2 Trackpoint mouse. I definitely prefer those to touchpads...

    Thats pretty sweet. But who are they kidding with this:
    Retail price is $150
    And then sell it for $9.99.... Maybe its $150 with a 94% markup somewhere...

    EDIT: something like this would be perfect if it was wireless and didnt have the number pad.

    nope, I found some websites that do sell it for that price, I think they buy and then resell stuff from closeouts and such.
