    Wireless Keypad/Mouse

    Has anyone used this or something like this?

    Please see the attached picture

    It is the wireless keypad and mouse combo from Targus.
    I was thinking of using just the keypad for controlling my mp3 player.

    What I want to know is if this will work if the machine is in my golf's boot and the keypad is in the front? i.e Will it work at that distance and through the seats etc.?

    Any input would be appreciated as the salesman don't seem to know and it's not cheap enough to buy if it doesnt work.

    When in doubt read the documentation right?
    It says for best results use within 20 cm of receiver.

    If anyone knows if it actually will work from the boot of my car by chance (doubtfull) please let me know

    Why not just run a usb extension to your dashboard, then you can use the 20cm of wireless.
