Lilliput touch overlay on different lcd.

Ok, a lot of people who buy lilliput lcds have no use for the touchscreen as they use them in projectors.
Apparently the usb cable runs with the vga?
Do you guys think it would be fairly easy to wire the overlay up to an individual usb extension? I plan on mounting it on a 7" composite.

the usb cable and vga are combined into one cable (multiple cores) to save messing about you could use the existing cable, if not you would need to open a lilliput and find what wires connect to the usb plug on the far end of the cable
remember the coluors may no follow the same all the way down best to use a continuety meter to check them first.

Yes I do think it would be easy you just need to make sure you also get the controller for the overlay. There are only four leads off it. Check out this site should give enough to go on : http://www.tmz.com/wrx/lilliputLCD.html
