I hope u dont plan on seeing to much with 40 degree viewing angle.
I got this rear view camera: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...728072309&rd=1
and I've got the Dazzle usb adaptor
( http://www.pinnaclesys.com/ProductPa...27&Langue_ID=7)
I didn't want to use the dazzle software (too much crap)
I want to use Frodoplayer (Frodocam) with this, question is how?

Companies charge more for weatherproof cameras. So, isn't it possible to weather proof a camera your self for pretty cheap. Some PVC pipe, some lexan or pexi glass, and a little glue. Or better yet, a ZIP-LOCK bag..???
Actually, the one I got is (I think) a 90 degree view angle. The one I posted there is just similar.
I'm not worried about waterproofing, that I have solved. I'm talking about software, can I just use Frodocam (by itself) or do I need additional software or drivers? I'm running XP.
Edit: Nevermind, I got it. Used the dazzle driver, hook up the camera, that's it![]()

Dazzle is crap.
Quick! To the Popemobile!
Actually, got hooked up just using Dazzle's drivers. Then used Frodocam...works great.
But I agree that the software is a joke.

I just did a setup test in the house last Sunday, works fine. Of course I haven't used it outside yet.Originally Posted by tbird2340

Won't know 'till after Christmas how well it'll work outside or as a rear view system.

Damn thats to long away. We need to know NOW!!!! J/k sneak it out again when shes gone and take a pic with it so we/i can see the viewing angle.
I actually purchased the same exact camera....the camera was advertised having a 90 degree FOV - it's no where near that. I would say it's more like 40-degrees at the most.
Another bad thing is that the top right corner of the picture is blocked by the camera casing - so a small part of the top right corner of the picture on my screen is blacked out. I thought this was a defect so I had the seller send me a replacement. Guess what, it was just part of the stupid design.
Anyways, the picture is crappy and it doesn't fit in my trunk keyhole. There is another keyhole reverse camera I am looking at on eBay but it costs twice as much, though it really looks like a keyhole and has a 120-degree FOV.
Good luck.
