Please let me first say sorry for asking a question often asked but i coulnd't find many topics that i think apply to me.
I am very into car audio and in my SUV i plan on building a wall of subwoofers behind my head. I already have a 7" lilliput TS so i am going to get another lilliput screen (although non-TS). I need a good rear-view camera that will be mounted high on my Explorer's hatch. The reason my request is different from others is because I will have no use of my rear-view mirror. I will soley depend on the camera. I need a high quality camera that can view at a wide angle and of course be capable of seeing at decent quality at night. Mirroring capability is a must as well (so I can't make heads and tails of what i'm doing when trying to drive backwards). Hit me with what you've got. I promise to post pics of my ride with the rear-view installed once i get it!!

that one seems nice...although i'm not sure if the case will permit my application. I assume it is good for daily vision as well right? Cuz that is ultimately the most important (who can see well in their rear-view at night anyway). Looks good and a great price. I'm familiar with digitalww's site (that's where i purchased my lilli TS and where i am going to purchase my secondary screen). Any other recommendations!?
bump, still looking for replies.

I just bought that exact one except from a different seller yesterday. I'm going to post a review when I get it.

I am still trying to determine if my plan would work (waiting on some feedback from others in the forum), but I want to use a Sony SuperHAD 1/3" low LUX camera as a backup camera. These would be the ideal solution since they are well regarded and have very good low light capabilities. The only problem is that the image would not be reversed.
I am hoping the solution is going to be the mirror image function on some lilliputs. If they will flip the image in the x direction it would/should work. I am waiting for someone who has done this to post on how well it works and if there are some problems with it (such as having to reset it everytime you power the monitor on, etc.).

I remember that in my old setup, there was a wire you could pull high in order to reverse the image. Not sure if that would help, since your camera would most likely be on the entire time...
I had not thought of that, seems like an interesting option. I am really looking for a solution using the monitor to filp it since I am not sure that the Sony cameras support flipping the x-axis.
