Just curious about the status of the ai-net adapter. Also, what about the status on version 2 of your indash pc? I'm quite interested in that as well.

I'm not working on it yet
I will run beta testing for my new MBus adapters which can connect to _any_ car in about 1 week.
The InDashPc evolves. I hope to post some pics in 2 weeks with the new front panel, VFD screen and encoder based control. You'll see it...

Just download zip for windows: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/p...2.zip?download
Unpack it to any place you want and run pycar.exe.
Let me know if you need more instructions ( there is a README file in that zip )

    Thank you Jbors.
I have tested it. It looks lite but with some bugs perhaps because it was first developped for linux. Great work.

    You will continue debugging it?

and does tour MBUS adaptator compatible with PYCAR?

New MBus adapter is yet to come in about 1 week. Yes it is compatible with PyCar.
PyCar will have major release in Sep. There will be many cool features to be announced.

I'm going to start looking into Ai-net soon, time permitting.

There are devices out that I can buy in order to insert my audio into the amp system in my Acura MDX 2005. One of them is Blitzsafe. It makes use of the Ai-net protocol between the HU and the cd-changer. Another is the IPod interface.

However, I want a solution that is customizable and flexible. I.e. being able to have any number of tracks and have it show up on the display on the HU.. Maybe even song information. It would be easier than mounting a custom LCD and outputting song information to that LCD. :-P

See what happens. Good work so far.
