Xenarc Announces their 700IDT In-Dash Monitor

I'm really surprised nobody picked up on this yet.

I went to Xenarc's website, and lo and behold:

Long awaited and much anticipated, the 700IDT made its finished debut and will begin shipping in early February 2005. The monitor is non-motorized and will fit into any single din space. Its spring-loading mechanism allows the screen to pop out automatically and is proven to be more durable than traditional motorized gearing. The monitor is equipped with resistive technology as well, and a VGA input and 2 composite video inputs and an audio input. Due to high demand, Xenarc Technologies is taking pre-orders on this unit, as the initial stock shipment of this item is nearly sold out already.

I did not see any pricing information, and it's not on their Xenarc Direct site yet.

Also noted in the above press release are their new 10.2 and FIFTEEN-DOT-THREE roof-mounted behemoth.

I'm definitely hoping they'll pick up the pace on manufacturing those IDT's, that's the final piece of my Car PC.

I saw that yesterday and just figured it was old news. I'm curious to see how much it costs though.

Sorry - I glanced through the forum messages, and didn't see one that jumped out "HEY 700IDT!" -- So I apologize.

The last 2 were not in this forum, that's why I didn't see them

If the 700TSV is $399 - I'd be willing to bet this thing will debut at $499 or so.

$599 US, and 504EUR according to Google.

Is it motorised or not? Had a quick glance through specs but didn't see.
If not the price seems a bit steep!

The Xenarc is *not* motorised.
