Ive been playing around with Girder for the last few days now, while destroying everything else on my carPC. But I have got this to work with a homemade reciever at the link below. Highly recommend it. Spent less then 7 dollars on parts, and they have the plugin for Girder too.
Im trying to figure out if there is a way Girder can check to see if a function is open or closed. I want to disable groups after opening up files. Like, if I open up a program with Girder, it disables some groups, and when I close a program with girder, I can enable the same groups. But if I use the exit button on the program, then it doesn't know its been closed. Does anyone know a way to check? I have been trying all kinds of different things, and have been using the Lua plugin, but still can't find anything that works.

If you want me to make you a receiver, let me know and I will build one for you cheap, I had to by multiples of each part so I have extras.

Do you know of any good Girder tutorial?
Cris, girder is pretty easy when you you get used to it but it is ver confusing until it all clicks. I am a bit rusty on it but if you need any help give me a shout on yahoo.Originally Posted by Cris
When you open up Girder, you can go to the online help, and read that short tutorial. It doesn't give you all you need to understand, but its a start. I played around alot with it before I got it. They also have a forum for Girder at promixis.com. The coolest thing is using one button to do more then one thing, letting me use a 16 button remote to control all frodo functions, and every function for every other program you might use. You can use it as a simple thing, or you can go real advanced. Use the help first, and then when you have questions, which you will, let me or Scouse Monkey know.
